We finally moved back into our freshly refurbished labs – everything is nice and shiny now and we have looooads of space! Thanks to FAU for making this possible!

Together with Pharmacy students from the 6th-8th semester, we visited the pharmaceutical company „Dr Willmar Schwabe“ in Karlsruhe. During the one-day excursion, we learned a lot about the isolation, characterisation and formulation of phytotherapeutics from Gingko, Hawthorn and Lavender oil. It was a very interesting day!

We congratulate Jennifer, who received the teaching award from the Bavarian State Ministry of Science and the Arts (StMWK Bayern) for her outstanding and innovative teaching. Jennifer is one of the two 2023 awardees from FAU.
February 2024
Gregor has successfully pitched the Project NAVET within the BMBF initiative DATIpilot Innovation on stage. This program aims to make better use of Germany’s innovative strength and to promote and accelerate the development of technological and social innovations. From 6000 applications, 600 projects were invited to nationwide pitches. In only 150 projects were selected on site. Congrats!

Our group participated in the installation of the new photovoltaic system on the roof of the Department Biology. Great team effort with the colleagues from biology – thanks all for the help!
