Hélène Zondag

In 2023, Hélène obtained her PhD in Infectious Diseases at the Public Health Service in Amsterdam, the Netherlands (GGD Amsterdam). As a postdoctoral researcher and project manager at the GGD Amsterdam, she worked on surveillance and (collaborative) research at the gonorrhea reference laboratory of the Netherlands at the GGD Amsterdam, and was involved in tenders, organizing symposia and diagnostic efficiency efforts. In April 2025, she joined the lab of Prof Fuhrmann at the Chair of Pharmaceutical Biology as a Postdoctoral Research Manager where she will focus on scientific writing and teaching.
